Solo Term Project 

Fictional Beer Brewery and Branding

Using the imagination and experience of seeing beer brands in stores, we were to create a fictional beer brewery with its very own inclusive brand.

Concept / Vision 

Based on the idea that Sunday is supposed to be "Church day", I named my beer company Dark Sunday to play with the idea that my company is known to make dark Lager Beer to drink specifically on Sunday.

Wicked Fellow is the brand I created as part of Dark Sunday to portray a character of a 'dark magician' who brings dark magic (a.k.a dark lager beer) to enhance everyone's life. Sip on the beer and you will feel instant dopamine being infiltrated in your body.

Summary of Brand

Wilson  Johnson is a wicked fellow who moved to British Columbia from Texas, US in 1986. He thoroughly enjoyed pairing a beer with a meal. Wilson was not satisfied with the idea that certain beers can only be paired with certain meals.

 

“It shouldn't be so much trouble to find something that can be generic, can be paired with any type of meal and yet leave the tongue craving for more sips”.

 

Johnson then established Dark Sunday Brewing company and created the famous wicked fellow lager beer. Establishing this company became Wilson’s ultimate purpose in life as he wants to share this beer with everyone. Wicked fellow will leave you craving for more with every sip and  can be paired with any meal you’d ever think of.

Process

Starting with sketches using a notebook and HB pencil,
I then imported the sketches into Adobe illustrator to sketch over with the pen tool. 

I then filled it with colour and chose fonts by looking them up on the sites 1001fonts and dafont.com.
